About Cockle Point ResortCockle Point is a family-run private beachside restaurant and resort located by the pristine white sands of Number Two Beach, approximately 20 kilometres drive south of Freetown, Sierra Leone. The resort is situated in twelve acres of beautiful waterside land with six guesthouses providing simple but very comfortable overnight accommodation. Our restaurant takes lunchtime and dinner bookings, and is popular with locals, expatriates and tourists serving a wide variety of dishes including Barbequed Marinaded Barracuda, fresh Lobsters and our guests' favourite Thai Red Curry with Pumpkin. Breakfast is available for staying guests. Activity-wise, there are several options. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Number Two Beach (famous for its white sand & party atmosphere), 20 minutes to canoe up the lagoon to a nearby waterfall or approximately 30 seconds to settle into one of our hammocks with a good book! The ambiance of Cockle Point is extremely relaxed and peaceful. We prefer to keep our land as close to its natural state as possible, allowing indigenous plant and tree species to flourish and grow wild. Power is primarily sourced from solar panels, supplemented by generator only when necessary.

This is a cute place to come for the day! They also have rooms available it is a different experience more of a lake house vibe right in the river. |
