Freetown Tour (Part 1) - Expore the city’s neighborhoods and landmarks, and learn about their historical significance Lumley Beach Road - Visit the epicenter of Freetown’s entertainment scene for dinner and nightlife |
DAY 3 |
Freetown Tour (Part 2) - Complete the rest of your tour and shop for souvenirs at the largest artisan market in Freetown Culinary Class - Learn the history of Sierra Leone’s staple foods, along with traditional cooking techniques that have been used for generations |
DAY 4 |
Hiking - Hike through a quiet neighborhood to the top of a hill where you’ll find Mambo Waterfall; or go on a more challenging adventure to Picket Hill River No. 2 Beach - Enjoy the beach like a true Sierra Leonean, with seafood straight from the ocean, drinks, and good conversation |

Bunce Island - Visit the main trading center for enslaved Africans — their final departure point before being transported to the West |

Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary - Tour a wildlife refuge housing close to 100 chimpanzees Lettie Stuart Pottery Studio - Participate in a pottery making workshop and learn about the impact the studio is making in the community |

Football Match - Watch two of Sierra Leone’s top professional teams play in the country’s most popular sport Lumley Beach - Lounge on the beach with a beverage in hand, or get in the action and play volleyball, football, or basketball |

Bureh Beach - Learn about surf culture in Sierra Leone and take lessons with a professional Banana Island - Take a short boat ride to an island with resorts that offer fishing, scuba diving, tubing, boating, and more |
DAY 9 |
Flames Cycling Club - Combine exercise with exploration as you ride with one of the top amateur cyclings clubs in Freetown Telem Uncommon Sounds - Listen to talented artists play a combination of traditional and modern music |
DAY 10 & 11 |
Bo Town - Leave Freetown for an overnight stay in Bo, the second largest city in Sierra Leone, and the capital of the country before independence |
DAY 12 & 13 |
