Adeola Carew is a multi-award-winning Writer, Poet, and Performer from Freetown Sierra Leone. She has been writing most of her life and her work is highly revered as it touches on themes of love, abuse, and the experience of women in an African society. She is an LLB prospect and activist for equal rights and sexual-reproductive health. In 2020 she established Safe Space SL; a non-profit geared towards creating a safe learning environment for young women in her community.​
