About Central Salone
Our CEO, Khadija Kamara, is a proud Sierra Leonean woman with a desire to build infrastructure in Sierra Leone and create jobs! She felt a God driven desire to start a fashion brand and listened to that call!

Central Salone's mission is to create jobs for Sierra Leonean women by producing 'Made in Sierra Leone' fashion products. As of 2018, the literacy rate for women above 18 in Sierra Leone was 39.8% compared to 51.6% for men. Central Salone is creating economic opportunities for women by training our employees to sew and create bags!

The vision is to make African fashion the global leader in fashion design, manufacturing and exports. Considering the fashion industry is largely led by Eurocentric fashion, reimagining the use of African prints from traditional wear to everyday wear will increase visibility of African fashion
