About Sallieu SesayThe oldest of three children, Sallieu Sesay was born in Sierra Leone, and immigrated to the United States when he was three years old. His mother is a nurse in Seattle, and he followed in her footsteps by graduating and earning a degree in Bachelors in the Science of Nursing from Washington State University. While at university, he was cast in the play "The Laramie Project" and went on to earn a minor in Theatre.
Sallieu brings an unlimited amount of focus and dedication to his craft as an actor, and since arriving in Los Angeles, he has continued training with some of the best acting teachers and coaches in the industry. His talent paid off when he was recognized with a Best Supporting Actor win for his performance in "Bloodhound Disciple" at the Queen Palm International Film Festival. Sallieu's television debut on "The Rookie" was quickly followed up with a Guest Star spot on "The Fugitive". Sallieu is the proud father of two, and credits his deep faith and family for keeping him on his path. |
