About Sierra Agra
Sierra Agra’s goal is to elevate the agribusiness sector in Sierra Leone, combining a strong commercial business with the ability to improve the lives of thousands of people. By processing high volumes of fruit, Sierra Agra will advance the livelihoods and living conditions of socially and economically disadvantaged Sierra Leoneans located predominantly in rural arable farming communities. Sierra Agra will successfully support out-growers, smallholder farmers, plantation owners, communities, chiefdoms, and regions to follow Sierra Agra established guidelines for growing crops with short and long-term profits. Sierra Agra aims to create dignified full-time jobs, inclusive of women and youth by being the best-in-class, aseptic pasteurization and fresh fruit processing company. Sierra Agra will focus on the indigenous and contract farming of various fruit varieties - mangos, coconuts, oranges, pineapples and passion fruit, to be grown and sold by an expanding network of over 3,500 small farmers and vertically integrated contract farms.
