About My Words in Your Pocket
My Words in your Pocket is about my journey in life and it is my first attempt at publishing my work. I thought why not start by showing you all a brief introduction of myself. Why not give you the highlights of the journey and hopefully down the line you’ll be able to sink your teeth into a novel. The book is split into three parts: poems that describe my childhood, poems about me growing into a woman, and finally poems that describe where I am right now and the woman I have become and still solidifying. I say in your pocket because I wanted to create a book that you can take with you anywhere and for any part of your journey. If you are still figuring it out there are poems here for you. If you are struggling with your identity, there are poems here for you. If you feel that you are coming into your own, there are poems in here for you. If you feel that you are so old and you still don’t have it figured out, there are poems here for you. Take My Words in Your Pocket and let them inspire you.
