About humanwearI used to walk down roads that lead the middle ground
Between home and a safety net Of course, there was a green But I saw shades of brown, red and an orange instead to blind me And fill my world with beauty in equal measure It was then I felt I could never see all there is If I look through shades of brown And I've been tunnel visioned in rebelliance ever since Black to blind me, painted me in my blank spaces My cataracts shade the same now as fallen leaves I need not see much if this is that road for me I may not need see shades of green Or blue Or purples and pinks If I see in shades of brown, what is blue? What is green? I reach to touch it and I am not there. a pair of legs are pacing back and forth |
