About My African Passport
Lyande Kaikai is a Sierra Leonean born entrepreneur who founded My African Passport. Her passion for Africa and having travelled to 5 continents has led her to become a leading expert in travel and tourism for the Africa by working with tourism boards to promote their countries as go to holiday destinations.
 
My African Passport (MAP), founded in 2012 is a travel organisation based in the UK with an office in Sierra Leone. MAP aims to promote travel to Africa by providing tips, organizing group trips and assisting travellers to find local tour guides in Africa. MAP currently has 50+ local tour guides and group tours in 20 African countries.
 
MAP’s local tour guides are there to give tourists a real taste of Africa through their knowledge and understanding of the country. The platform creates jobs for locals and enhances their livelihood through earnings. MAP also support local tour guides with basic education on tourism and customer service training.
