About Aisha Kamara
I'm Aisha - a filmmaker, actress and creative consultant. I'm proudly from Sierra Leone (Yes a Salone girl), partially raised in Sydney Australia, and now based in NYC.
 
Following my passion for acting and film, I graduated with a BA in film production from SAE, and from the Actors College of Theatre & Television in Sydney. Since then I’ve featured as a lead and support actress in American and Australian television, as well as the Nigerian film industry, and experienced a diverse range of roles such as director, producer, writer and assistant editor for award winning films and corporate brands.
 
My dream is to create a space and community that celebrates cultural diversity and creativity against the odds.
