About Africa Young Voices (AYV)
AYV strives towards promoting the young African voices through the power of the media.
 
With AYV, young people have the opportunity to let their voices heard at local, national and the international stage through our media advocacy programmes on Radio, Television, Newspaper and Magazine.
 
African young people now have the opportunity to discuss issues affecting them and create a positive dialogue between them and stakeholders.
 
To make our work effective, AYV is operating three separate media institutions – television, radio and newspaper. We have also created a network of young african youth leaders, AYV Network, under the AYV Youth Desk, plus a movie platform – AYV Films.

AYV does a good job for Sierra Leone level in terms of news and updates. They need to improve how they cover breaking news. For example during the November 26, 2023 incident was not covered properly on the day of the event.
